Click Start
Click Conrol Panel
Click System and Maintenance
Click Administrative Tools
Double click Services
Scroll down to Windows Search and Right Click Windows Search

Right Click Windows Search again
Select DISABLE to disable SearchIndexer.exe

The Windows Search Indexer service is now stopped and disabled.
